head to head
goal differential (maximum +7/-7)
fewest goals allowed
fewest no shows
fewest red cards

* any team that has not paid a no-show fee will be ineligible for the playoffs

General Playoff Information

Borrowing sibling players from other club rosters is not permitted for playoff games. Only players on the team roster are permitted.
Teams not competing in quarterfinals or semifinals will play friendly matches. Teams that do not qualify for the finals will have the ability to opt in and play a friendly on that date.

Division Information

Divisions of 4 or 5 teams: Semifinals then finals
Divisions of 6 or 7 teams: Quarterfinals then Semifinals then finals
Divisions of 8 or 9 teams: Semifinals then finals
Divisions of 10 or 12 teams: Two pods within the division, Quarterfinals then Semifinals then finals

Playoff Match Procedures

ALL MATCHES
home team (higher seed) kicks off first half
home team chooses bench for first half
home team elects whether to change colors in the event of a conflict
if score is level after full time,
fouls and timeouts not used in the second half carry over,
QUARTERFINALS: kicks from the penalty mark (best of three)
SEMIFINALS: there is a one-minute interval, teams do not change benches or ends
home team kicks off three-minute overtime
overtime is golden goal (first goal scored wins)
if no goal is scored, immediately to kicks from the penalty mark (best of five)
any players may shoot, team with greater number of players may elect to reduce to equate
if no team is ahead after five kicks per team, kicks continue one-for-one until a winner is determined

Awards

First and second place Mass Youth teams will receive trophies, first place Mass Adult and Premier division teams will receive trophies. Players on the champions and finalists in each will receive individual awards. Awards ceremonies will take place immediately following each division's championship match.
